Immediate Plans and Programs of the Binangonan
PROGRAM:
1. Segregation at Source, Barangay Level (Households, Public Market, Schools and
Establishments).
2. Re-implement SWM by February 2011.
3. No dumping of unsegregated wastes at the Municipal Dumpsite.
Plan:
1. Require an MRF for every Barangay.
2. Start IEC by 3rd week of November.
3. Prepare the necessary mechanisms/ papers to be needed.
a. Monitoring forms (Daily, Weekly, Citation Ticket).
b. Information Education Campaign Materials (Flyers/ Billboards).
4. Establish ordinances for the implementations, legal basis.
5. Establish monitoring team (Environmental Enforcers).
- Six (6) Environmental Enforcers with motor tricycles.
- Two (2) personnel per motor tricycles.
6. Re- format collection schedules for the Municipal Dump trucks based on approved
collection schedules.
*Collection schedules to be recommended.
-Biodegradable Wastes Monday to Friday (4-6 a.m.)
-Non-biodegradable Wastes Every Saturday (4-6 a.m.)
(Recyclable/ Residual)
-Special Wastes Planned for collection on separate trucks on Fridays.
-No collection on Sundays except on Public Market.
